LA & Vegas

We recently attended the Las Vegas Magic show to check out what was happening in the world of street-wear. Times are tough in the U.S & a lot of brands that used to be at the show no longer are... However I'm happy to say that we will soon be stocking the likes of Rebel 8, Obey, Expensive Taste and Silver Star at out K' Rd store and online store...

 Sorry we didn't get many photos of the show, but here's a couple from around L.A & Vegas!

New Tees Dropping Today!

E.S.P

I'm guessing from time to time you wonder who prints all the Illicit T-shirts..?? No it ain't no sweatshop in China, Surprisingly; It's a sweatshop in Auckland!

E.S.P printed the very first Illicit tee, some 13 years back, it was "Reaper Girl" from what I remember, and Ean was the guy that pulled the squeegee!

It's always entertaining going up there, the constant bickering, back stabbing & fighting over the stereo makes for belly laughs galore!

Aside from that these guys are the best printers in the country, having won numerous awards for technical printing.

Oh and they're also complete freaks, check out the ink on these boys! Rock & fuckin' roll!

Roger 'Wild' Earp takes World Championship belt!

A capacity crowd of 500 people came along to Aucklands YMCA at the weekend to witness NEMESIS III!

Our boy Roger "Wild" Earp won the WKBF World Superlightweight title & fellow E.T.K fighter Sefa "Silent One" Fue won the WKBF Pro World Light Welterweight title!

Aaron Kerr is an up & coming illustrator/graphic artist, who recently clawed his way free from a life of rigorous dairy farming & fornicating with livestock to become the latest member of the sleep-deprived gang of vandals that the world has come to know as The Illicit Clothing Company (That's us...)

Guess who stopped in last week? That's right, the one and only Californian hardcore juggernaut, TERROR! 

We met these dudes when they were in Auckland last time, so this time they knew exactly where to come for some killer new tees!

Last night we joined the Sacred tattoo crew for a bit of an early xmas celebration, and how better to celebrate the birth of baby jesus than with a good old Slayer & Megadeth concert! 

Jesus is a what? We can't decipher the hidden message in this one?

A little bit of product placement there with the boys from Megadeth...

To all of you who might have missed the news last night here is the news segment re: "Illicit Cola" stealing our name.

Just to set the record straight we were NEVER contacted by this deluded guy until, as I say in the interview, they offered us a free 6 pack..I have never been this angry in my life..Why on earth would we want to help someone put out something as corporate and ugly as a cola?? It is everything Illicit is against.

And he says he wouldn't mind someone putting out "Illicit lawnmowers"??!! Of course he wouldn't - cause it aint his god dam brand!!!!..Send Steve an email...(even stole my name!) enquiries@demonenergy.com

ILLICIT COLA DEBACLE

Has anyone seen the new "Illicit" Cola that Demon energy drinks

has put out??? Look familiar? Yep, there sure are some very unimaginative "Advertising"
folks out there! We've had our artwork ripped off by a lot of people but a local one!?

And how bad is that advertisement? Those two rats-nest haired girls look like they would
rather be anywhere else in the world than promoting this no doubt foul tasting brew. And
then there's shadow-bloke over there who looks like he's had a sip & is gonna be real sick,
real soon!
