Steve Askin Memorial
Illicit clothing is honored to work in conjunction with the NZSAS to
produce a t-shirt design in memory of Steve Askin, NZGS.
In memory of Steve Askin, NZGS, nicknamed the Lone Wolf.
Steve died in a helicopter crash while selflessly putting out fires on the Port Hills, Christchurch
in order to save homes from destruction and provide safe corridors to allow people to evacuate the area.
Steve was an exceptional SAS soldier and helicopter pilot, devoted husband and father
to wife Elizabeth and their two children Bowie and Isabelle, loving son to Paul and
Leslie and brother to Pete and his two sisters.
His passing and subsequent knowledge of his life allows us to understand what it really means to live.
Illicit is again proud to support Gruntlife Legacy, ANZAC servicemen and women
for their efforts both at home and abroad.
We will remember them.
All proceeds from sales will be donated to Steve's Give a Little page.
